Digital Product Terms, Disclaimer and Refund Policy

These terms apply to your purchase and use of Count the Cost: End-of-the-Year Journal and any accompanying digital materials sold by The Paper Money, referred to below as “we,” “us” or “our.”

By purchasing, downloading or using the journal, you agree to these terms.

1. Digital Product and Delivery

Count the Cost: End-of-the-Year Journal is a digital product. No physical product will be shipped.

After successful payment, access will be provided electronically through a download page, email or the platform used to complete your purchase.

Please enter your email address correctly and check your spam, promotions or junk folders if your delivery email does not arrive. If you have not received access within 30 minutes of completing your purchase, contact papermoneyteam@gmail.com with your name, purchase email and order number.

You are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection and software capable of opening a standard PDF file.

2. Educational Disclaimer

This journal is provided for educational, informational, spiritual and personal-reflection purposes.

It does not constitute:

• Financial or investment advice

• Tax or accounting advice

• Legal advice

• Medical or mental-health advice

• Therapy, diagnosis or psychological treatment

• Pastoral counselling

• A personalised business consultation

Nothing in the journal creates a professional-client, therapist-client, pastor-member or fiduciary relationship between you and the author or publisher.

You remain responsible for deciding whether and how to apply anything you discover through the journal. Consult an appropriately qualified professional when your circumstances require personalised assistance.

3. Emotional and Mental-Health Disclaimer

Some questions address failure, money, relationships, fear, grief, regret, responsibility, faith and other potentially sensitive experiences.

The journal is not designed to diagnose or treat a mental-health condition. You may pause, skip a question or discontinue the exercise at any time. If a question causes significant distress or brings up an experience that you do not feel equipped to process alone, seek support from a qualified mental-health professional or another trusted source of appropriate care.

References to pastors and therapists in our marketing are humorous expressions of the journal’s direct tone. They are not intended to discredit, replace or discourage professional or pastoral support.

4. Scripture and Spiritual Disclaimer

The journal contains scripture-based questions, commentary, prayers and reflections written from the author’s perspective.

These materials are not presented as:

• New doctrine or prophecy

• Direct personal revelation for every reader

• A substitute for studying Scripture in context

• A guarantee that a particular prayer will produce a particular outcome

• A formula for financial success, divine favour or business growth

You are encouraged to read the referenced passages for yourself, pray, exercise discernment and seek trustworthy spiritual counsel where appropriate.

5. Results Disclaimer

We do not promise or guarantee any particular financial, business, emotional, personal or spiritual outcome from using the journal.

Completing all of the questions does not guarantee that you will:

• Reach your business or income goals

• Resolve every problem identified

• Experience a specific financial result

• Avoid future mistakes or setbacks

• Receive a particular answer to prayer

• Make 2027 or any other year your “best year”

The journal gives you questions and a structure for reflection. Your results depend on your circumstances, actions, decisions, consistency, market conditions, available resources and numerous factors outside our control.

Any examples, testimonials or personal stories describe individual experiences. They should not be interpreted as promises that another customer will receive the same result.

Refund Policy

Because this is an instantly delivered digital product, purchases are generally final once access to the product has been provided or downloading has begun, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not ordinarily provide refunds because a customer:

• Changed their mind after receiving access

• Did not complete or use the journal

• Did not like the journal’s tone or questions

• Expected a different outcome

• Purchased without reading the product description

• No longer needs the product

• Experienced a device or software issue when the supplied file itself is functional

However, we will review a refund or replacement request where:

• You were charged more than once for the same purchase

• You received the wrong product

• The supplied file is corrupted or cannot be opened and we have failed to provide a working replacement within 60 working days.

• The product is materially different from its published description

• A refund or other remedy is required under applicable consumer law

Please submit your request within seven calendar days of purchase by emailing papermoneyteam@gmail.com. Include:

• Your full name

• The email address used for the purchase

• Your order number or proof of payment

• A brief explanation of the issue

• A screenshot or error message, where relevant

Where possible, we may first attempt to resolve the issue by providing technical assistance, a new download link or a replacement file.

If a refund is approved, it will be sent to the original payment method. The time it takes to appear in your account will depend on your payment provider or financial institution.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

Personal-Use Licence

Your purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the journal for your own personal reflection.

You may:

• Download the journal to your personal devices

• Print copies for your own personal use

• Write in or annotate your personal copy

• Share up to three individual prompts on social media when you clearly credit @thepapermoney

You may not:

• Forward or share the complete journal with another person

• Upload it to a shared drive, membership platform, group or public website

• Resell, sublicense or redistribute it

• Copy substantial sections into another journal, book, course or product

• Use the prompts as materials for paid client work, workshops, coaching or counselling without written permission

• Remove copyright, branding or ownership notices

• Use the journal or its contents to train an artificial-intelligence system or create a competing product

Each person who wants to use the complete journal must purchase their own copy unless a separate group or commercial licence has been granted in writing.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the journal’s original questions, explanations, structure, commentary, design and supporting materials are owned by Sami Chepi for The Paper Money and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Scripture quotations remain subject to the rights and usage requirements of their respective translations and publishers. Translation information and required copyright acknowledgements should be included inside the journal.

Unauthorised reproduction or distribution may result in the termination of your licence and further action where appropriate.

Third-Party Platforms

Payment processing, product delivery, email communication or website services may be provided by third-party platforms.

Those platforms may apply their own terms, privacy practices and processing times. We are not responsible for temporary interruptions or failures caused entirely by a third-party service, but we will make reasonable efforts to help you obtain the product you purchased.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses resulting from your use of—or inability to use—the journal.

You remain responsible for your business, financial, personal and spiritual decisions.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our liability will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

 

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in the product, our business practices or applicable legal requirements.

The version that applied when you made your purchase will continue to govern that purchase unless a change is required by law.
