Marijuana? Or CBD?

How to start your own CBD business.

What is CBD?

According to Wikipedia; Cannabidiol is a phytocannabinoid discovered in 1940. It is one of some 113 identified cannabinoids in cannabis plants, accounting for up to 40% of the plant's extract. As of 2018, preliminary clinical research on cannabidiol included studies of anxiety, cognition, movement disorders, and pain.

Some people prefer CBD to any painkiller because it is natural and organic.

The CBD in CBD oil is most often extracted from hemp as opposed to marijuana since it is naturally higher in CBD and low in THC. The short answer to the question, “Can CBD get you high?” is no, it can't. Hemp and CBD- like potatoes, are now and forever deemed an agricultural commodity.

CBD market is growing faster than cannabis proving that now is the time to start your own CBD business. CBD oil is expected to grow upwards by over 200% by 2022.

1. Understand CBD, the law around it and comply with regulation. You need to get registered, get required licenses and EIN /TIN for your business. Follow the laws set by your government.

2. Prepare a good business plan and find good suppliers.

You need to know, understand and get full knowledge of CBD.

- Make sure you are transparent, honest and VERY informative with your company's packaging and product dosing as well as your policies, terms and conditions and so forth.

You should not and will not claim your product "prevents, treats, diagnoses or cures"

FDA will not allow you to sell the product because these claims lack federally approved research.

Like any other business, CBD is very much the same, different markets of course but they are all the same. Think of it like KFC fries and freshly grown potatoes, they are all food but they are all in different markets but even though KFC competes as a fast food chain, they are also a business that requires the same foundation. You could build a townhouse and a contemporary family home and you will still need the same components for your foundation.

What is the purpose of your product? Beauty, personal care, health and wellness?

Who will be your targeted audience?

All of this can be found in our business planner built to guide new and old business owners to set a solid foundation.

3. Find a good supplier- we have a factory contact that produces CBD/Hemp Here.

Always ask for a certificate of analysis (COA) to confirm the levels of CBD, THC and other compounds in cannabis products. You can also run your own tests with a sample if you have any doubts.

You must treat CBD products like dietary supplements because FDA does not support any of the medical claims.

4. Just like any other business, you must generate your own content,

if you are posting valuable and credible articles and posts on your website and social media, customers will trust you. Good and original content helps build authority and it will generate high traffic.

We have spoken about setting up your online presence on our workbooks like Online Business Workbook and the Handbook.

Building a CBD brand is much easier than what people think. The product sells itself, you do not need to convince people, you just need to educate the,.

More people are concerned about their health and general well-being and all you have to do is show them that CBD oil is just as good as rosehip. Promote health, wellness and positivity.

We hope this helps you take on the CBD journey.
